Tygr Swipy’s

Tygr Swipy’s journey from Haiti to the heart of the hip-hop world is marked by resilience, loss, and an unbreakable love for music. Growing up in Haiti, he dreamed of using his voice to represent his community, discovering his passion at just 13 years old. Yet, with limited resources, he could only imagine what it would be like to record in a studio. In 2014, he finally got his chance, but his journey was far from easy. His family didn’t believe in a music career, leaving him to chase his dreams on his own. Swipy continued to work with rising artists in Haiti until he moved to the U.S. in 2018. After a brief stay in Miami, he relocated to New York to live with his aunt. But when she passed away in 2020, Swipy was left to navigate life alone, struggling with rent and survival, all while questioning if he could ever pursue music again. With his dreams nearly shattered, Swipy found a turning point in 2021 when he joined the U.S. Army, gaining stability and strength to keep going. By 2022, he returned to music with a new outlook and determination. His debut album, Time is Up, launched in May 2024, bringing his journey and struggles to life. Now, Tygr Swipy is back in the studio, pouring his story into fresh tracks and working on hit songs that he’s confident will take his sound to the next level. From Haiti’s streets to New York’s studios, Swipy’s voice is louder than ever a testament to the power of dreams and the resilience to keep pushing forward.
